Homemade Cayenne Hot Sauce
A bright, garlicky cayenne hot sauce you can make in minutes. Splash it on eggs, tacos, or anything that needs a kick.
Ingredients
- 2 tsp cayenne powder
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Bring to a simmer, stirring to dissolve salt and sugar.
- Cook 5 minutes until garlic softens.
- Blend completely smooth with an immersion blender.
- Cool and transfer to a clean jar or bottle. Refrigerate up to 3 months. Shake before using.
